Many People have a hard time expressing gratitude for the good things in their lives, much less the painful and difficult things. Yet the Bible says, “In everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you” (1 Thessalonians 5:18). How is that possible? It is possible when one understands that everything in our lives is filtered through the purposeful hand of a loving and personal God – and has a relationship with that God through His Son, Jesus Christ. This study guide describes the process of Growing in the Grace of Gratitude – the grace that leads to having a thankful heart that is able to rejoice in all things.
